The prestigious International Academy of Social Sciences announced the names and ranks of its 50 numbered academicians. Numbered academicians represent the highest rank that can be attained in the International Academy of Social Sciences and they are elected by their peers and nominated by government, educational, and private institutions. The International Academy of Social Sciences publishes the Journal of Alternative Perspectives in the Social Sciences and the Journal of Asia Pacific Studies and it is considered to be one of the most selective and prestigious institutions in academia.
