Faith often speaks most clearly when it remembers where people come from. During Hispanic Heritage Month, the UCNE Community pauses not only to honor culture, language, and family roots, but also to give thanks for the spiritual gifts carried across generations.

This year, Father Christian Ledergerber Weisson, Chief Chaplain to the UCNE Community, offers a religious message in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. His video message, attached to this post, invites the community to reflect with gratitude, unity, and hope.

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed in the United States from September 15 to October 15. It is a time to recognize the histories, contributions, and living traditions of Hispanic and Latino communities. For a faith community, it also becomes a sacred opportunity to remember how God works through culture, family, prayer, service, music, food, and shared memory.
