His Excellency Dr. Antonio Bascones Martinez currently serves as the President of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain and holds the rank of professor emeritus of Complutense University in Spain. The Chancellor has nominated him to the rank of Dean Emeritus for his many years of service to the University. On the 29th of July, the advisory board voted to confirm his appointment. Dr. Bascones will continue to serve the University as a regional representative and as a visiting professor.
