Updated: Nov 29, 2021

Maestro Bobby Ramirez recently celebrated 40 years of musical experience. Well known for his versatility as a musician, Maestro Ramirez combines music and history to protect Cuban folklore. In addition to founding Miami's Jazz Museum he established the Maestro Bobby Ramirez Cuban-American Institute of Folklore. The Institute is unique in that it combines historical research with great music. Maestro Ramirez emphasizes the importance of protecting the Spanish heritage of Cuban music and in particular the contributions made by Europeans in the development of Cuban culture.
