Promoting Environmental Conservation through art

The Fundacion Cultural y Ecologica Colombiana is headed by the energetic William Michaels Guerrero. Mr. Guerrero is artist with an important mission, to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation through the promotion of the arts. Education, culture, and ecological conservation come together in perfect synergy in the many events and projects organized by the Fundacion. Some examples of the events include workshops in public libraries to teach children how to use recycled materials to create works of art, exhibitions to promote the work of established artists dealing with the topic of environmental conservation, and public lectures about the need to protect the natural beauty of Latin America. The Catholic University of New Spain is honored to be an strategic partner of the Fundacion and intends to participate in the struggle to increase awareness about environmental conservation in the Americas and beyond.
