Ricardo Trejos, TV Producer, Philanthropist, and developer (San Jose, Costa Rica)

Ricardo Trejos is a member of one of Costa Rica's oldest and most prestigious families. He was one of the developers of the Trejos-Montealegre region and is one of Costa Rica's most prominent TV Producers and philanthropists. The Trejos family is originally from Spain and it become an important coffee planter family during the early years of the colonial period. Eventually the family participated in the urban development of the country. Don Ricardo Trejos is a Caballero de Merito of the Noble Company of Bernardo de Galvez and an active partner of the Catholic University of New Spain in Costa Rica. He was the founder of the Motehr Francisca Javier Cabrini Foundation which focused on feeding the most needy in the central american nation. He then transition into the movie industry but with a social purpose. "Skate my Life" is a very example of a movie with a social message. Don Ricardo Trejos is the producer and owner of this important Costa Rican film which is aimed at steering youth away from drugs and crime and instead encourage them to participate in sports. In summary, Don Ricardo Trejos is an example of a modern caballero and the University and the Noble Company are proud to count on his support.
