UCNE Gala and Ceremony in Madrid

The Catholic University of New Spain hosted a Gala night at the exclusive Real Gran Penia Club in Madrid. Many important guests from the world of academia, government, the armed forces, and the nobility attended the event. Dr. Beatriz Pena Acuna received an honorary doctorate of Human Letters for her more than one hundred academic publications and her many years of service promoting research cooperation between Spanish and Latin American scholars.

The Catholic University of New Spain congratulates H.E. Dr. Alfonso de Ceballos-Escalera y Gila, Marquis of la Floresta, member of the advisory board, for receiving Ecuador's highest award for education, the Vicente Rocafuerte Medal of the National Assembly during a Gala event of the Noble Company of Bernardo de Galvez and of the Catholic University of new Spain in Madrid.
