The Catholic University of New Spain in cooperation with the Albanian Red Cross, the Universidad de Yacambu, Isaac Newton University, the Noble Company of Bernardo de Galvez, and many other international institutions held a Gala at the Lincoln Room of the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC. The Gala included a keynote speech by the Honorable Alban Zeneli, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Albania about the priorities of reform in the Balkan country. The Honorable President emeritus of the Red Cross of Albania also delivered an important presentation about the work of the organization in dealing with holistic humanitarian development. His Highness Prince Sawath Pathanak of Laos delivered a brief presentation about the preservation of cultural heritage in Southeast Asia.
President Ransammy of the SUNY University system of New York received an honorary professorship from the Catholic University of New Spain and delivered a presentation about distance education in the 21st century. The Rector of the Universidad de Yacambu talked about the history of his institution and received the Grand Badge of the Albanian Red Cross for his many years of service in Venezuela.
